Philip Wallick's Biography:
I've been photographing aircraft for over 40 years. My father Forrest Philip Wallick was a policeman, photographer and part-time flight instructor at Brackett Field in Pomona, California during the 1950's. He gave me my first airplane ride in a Stearman at the old Pomona airport. I learned to fly in 1970 in our 1941 N3N-3 Navy trainer. My instructor-partner, Gary Hendrikson, used the navel cadet flight syllabus from 1941 and yelled at me through the gosport tube connected to my flight cap. Some 5,000 hours later I have owned and flown a variety of vintage aircraft. Air-to-air photography to me is very exciting work. I love to fly formation whether flying the plane or shooting the pictures. I've used 16mm film cameras, video cameras and large format Pentax and Nikons.

My book credits include "Reno Gold," "Airshow," "Airfreighters," and "Fire Bombers." I filmed a documentary on the history of fighting fires with vintage aircraft also called "Firebomber." This one-hour film has spectacular fire drop footage of TBM's, B17's, PBY's, F7F Tigercats, and lots more. This DVD or Video is action-packed with rare flying footage of WWII aircraft from Stearmans to DC7's and sells for $25.00.

I'm currently working on several calendar projects, including Vintage Aircraft, WWII-era, and Military Jets. To find current and past publications of my work, check out Amazon.com

Some of my Jets and WWII aircraft are already printed as 16x20 posters and are available personally autographed to you. Enjoy viewing the collection of aircraft images on the following pages.

As a member of the Planes of Fame Airmuseum in Chino, CA, my longtime friendships with the family of fellow pilots cannot be overlooked as part of my success. Steve Hinton and John Maloney are professionals I'm proud to know and work with. Three other talented photographers who are guests to this site which I work with are Joe Cupido, Jerry Wilkins and Jim Dunn. The photography on this site is available for publication of any type. My videos, books and calendars can be researched by searching for 'Philip Wallick' at Amazon.com

In addition to Phil's photography, AircraftMilitary.com is proud to showcase work by premier photographer Joe Cupido.

Joe Cupido’s Biography:
My interest in aviation started when I was young building aircraft models, then carried over into my photography. I've had the opportunity to fly in more than sixty different types of aircraft and log more than 400 hours flying high performance aircraft as an aerial photographer. My work has been published in magazines, calendars, advertising ads and published in fourteen countries. I am currently working on my seventh book. My most recent book was "Chino: Warbird Treasures Past and Present."
